Estimator – Painting and Rope Access Projects

We’re currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional service and results.

Job Description

About the Role

As our Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotes, conducting site assessments, and supporting our project managers with cost planning and analysis. You’ll be involved from initial enquiry through to project handover, ensuring each job is scoped with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for building maintenance works
  • Conduct site visits and assessments as needed
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure budgets are met
  • Maintain and update estimating templates and systems
  • Assist with tender submissions and client proposals

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estimating (favourably extensive knowledge in painting and rope access)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to sites
