It was essential to prioritise the safety of both the team and commuters while navigating the complexities of conducting maintenance work in this environment. Rigorous safety protocols and careful planning were implemented to mitigate these risks. Fidato embraced a remarkable opportunity to enhance their team’s skills by organizing a comprehensive two-week training session. This training included obtaining RIW, SARC, and WET licenses, as well as proficiently operating under-11m scissor lift. The challenge was further complicated by the close proximity of 25kVA power lines. The team maintained a strong focus on safety, strictly following protocols and carefully monitoring train schedules to ensure that barricades were efficiently moved each time a train approached the station. Throughout this process, there was an emphasis on keeping the workspace clean, which highlighted Fidato’s commitment to excellence and safety.
