Matt first began in the industry over a decade ago, and one of his first jobs as an employee was cleaning the steelwork and windows in Suncorp stadium. Twelve years later, his company Fidato was awarded the job.
Given it is now football season, we have a strict schedule to stick to; no weekend work and no access on game days. This means that we needed to potentially complete a week’s worth of work in 3 days. Our two pressure washers and our ionic Quattro system made this possible for our team of washers!
We were steaming ahead until the February floods impacted our ability to continue. The floodwaters from the Brisbane river had inundated the field.
After a 2 week hiatus, the muddy waters had cleared, and we could complete the window cleaning successfully.
Apart from successfully tendering and cleaning one of Brisbane’s most iconic landmarks, Fidato’s experienced rigging and rope access crew used this opportunity to develop and expand their knowledge of rigging and working more efficiently on steel beams.
